Spook was born ... with another much normal name.
But born in an ancient family of a long, long line of hunters, he had to adopt the name 'Spook', like all the other hunters in his family.
Seventh sons of the seventh sons were born with a special ability to see the supernatural ... And naturally, Spook could see them, tell what they are almost as easily and often as he breathes.
He never went to school. He never had a home. He never had any friends, even. All of his childhood was spent on the road, with his father, also adopting the alias Spook, as the older man trained him to be the best hunter around.
The problem was the young Spook was a goofball.
The dark creatures constantly surrounding him did not make him dark, like them, he turned out the opposite ... He wasn't also very handy with weapons, but much better at flirting, making jokes and basically having a good time. He even managed to befriend a few vampires, werewolves and demons, to his father's disbelief.
The young Spook grew up to be a rather carefree and flighty man, who still has talent, but buried it with his needs to party and socialize and gives smiles everywhere ... Leaving all the work to his father. He thought helping the old man with his abilities was enough.
That was until his father was killed during a hunt.
The Spook duo had turned into a solo He was alone, he never had been alone, and being almost a thousand miles from his birthplace with nothing but a suitcase full of illegal blessed weapons, seven suits, five hundred dollars in his wallet, a battered-up car, two magical all-seeing eyes and a little smile on his face to hide his inner pain ...
He searched for a way the to home he never had.
